  • Days are divided by subject periods, placing emphasis on core subjects and exposing the student to various teaching approaches (by teacher) In the 7th and 8th grades, the school day is extended to begin at 7:40
  • Students are specifically taught study and research strategies in all their course work as well as by leveraging our library and cutting-edge computer labs
  • Theme-based teaching across multi-disciplinary subjects. This maximizes classroom time and results in students who can think more globally (able to see relationships between different elements in their environment/world) Middle School teachers challenge their students to support opinions with facts, base them on previous learning, and to question the world around them.
  • Teachers form “interdisciplinary teams” to coordinate themed curriculum
  •  Our team approach is used effectively with our ongoing Student Review team Meetings in monitoring individual student progress and welfare
  • Dynamic interaction between students and teachers reflect a guidance-oriented approach
  • Extra-curricular activities develop individual talents and interests
