Curriculum Overview

• Classes will meet once a week
• The 7th grade curriculum will cover the time period from the aftermath of the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash until approximately the Renaissance.  Along the way, topics will include: The Byzantine Empire, the Golden Age of Spain, Christian/Jewish debates and Jews in the Diaspora.

Approach:  Due to the short nature of the classes, the goal will be to make history come alive in the classroom to give the students an overview of this period.
